GAMES 2017 Spring Meeting
Thursday, May 11, 2017 - Atlanta, GA
Building a sound compliance program in today’s environment is essential to survival. Many suppliers struggle with determining what is and what is not reasonable or expected when it comes to proactive compliance. What many are not taking into consideration is what is required by law.
A fundamental mistake is to think you have met your compliance program requirements because you are accredited! Did you know that CMS considers suppliers without a comprehensive compliance program to be negligent in the event of adverse actions? Or that the OIG’s exclusion authority has been expanded to enable them to revoke the billing privileges of a supplier that has had compliance issues and an ineffective or non-existent compliance program?
Suppliers billing Medicare must have a compliance program that meets government standards. This in-depth and interactive presentation will discuss those requirements and provide insight on best practices and practical solutions available to suppliers to assure that their compliance program is effective and does what is it supposed to do - which is protect your business!
This fast-paced, action-pack day is designed for HME owners, operators, managers, as well as compliance officers and upper-level billing & reimbursement personnel.
The full-day program is led by:
