NCART Shares Information from Webinars - March 4, 2010
Today is a big day for the Separate Benefit project. Two webinars are being held for the industry and other stakeholders to recap the work to date, to announce and overview a “Discussion Paper” that is being released, and to discuss what lies ahead for the next few months. Hopefully you or someone from your company was able to attend. I am attaching three documents for your reading pleasure:
1.) The handout from the Webinar.
2.) The press release regarding the Discussion Paper.
3.) The Discussion Paper (24 pages).
The Discussion Paper is designed to allow individuals and organizations within the Complex Rehab Technology industry and profession, along with other interested parties, to engage in more detailed discussions regarding the pursuit of a Separate Benefit under the Medicare program, the related elements of implementation, and its potential impact on stakeholders. It is not a finished product. It is meant to be a starting point so stakeholders have some level of detail to review and respond to.
The month of March has been targeted for sharing these updated details throughout the industry and soliciting feedback. To provide a forum for NCART members to review and comment on the Discussion Paper we will be holding an NCART Conference Call on Friday March 19th at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. Call-in information will be provided shortly, but please plan on attending to listen and contribute.
In addition, a Blog has been created to provide another forum for comment. You can access it at http://complexrehabtech.blogspot.com
The material above is new information you need to digest and share with others in your company.
