Todd Tyson

Todd Tyson, RRT, is President and Founder of Hi-Tech Healthcare, founded in 1990. Additional industry experience includes serving as Past President of GAMES, on the Region C Council, as GSRC- Homecare Chair, and Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine faculty.  Tyson is well-respected in the industry. He is sought after as a guest speaker and is frequently quoted in industry publications. He enjoys golf, boating, lobbying and spending time with his wife and four children.

David Petsch, BA
GAMES Treasurer

David John Petsch, born Oct, 3rd, 1952.  President/Owner of Petsch Respiratory Services, Martinez, GA.  David has been in the Home Medical Equipment industry since 1986.

David graduated college from St. Edward’s University, Austin Texas in 1975 with a degree in Business Administration, and a Degree in Education.  He attended St. Edward’s on a baseball scholarship, and played semi-pro baseball for 8 years.  David had graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Fredericksburg, Texas in 1971.  David relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1979 where he managed a national retail chain of stores, including Abercrombie and Fitch, Oshman’s Sporting Goods, and Cullum and Boren Sporting Goods.
 
In 1976 David entered the Home Medical industry and consulted for and performed start up operations for privately held firm growing operations in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Florida, until he went into his own business in 2000. David has served as President of GAMES for many years in the 80’s and 90’s and has served as GAMES secretary/treasurer since 2002.  David served on the Georgia Medicaid Advisory Committee thru the 80’s and 90’s under three different Commissioners and 3 different Program Analysts.
 
David is a member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and his local Columbia County Chapter where he serves on the Government Legislative Committee.  David continues to be active in all three local hospital foundations, and sponsors with the Ronald McDonald House program for the Children’s Medical Center.  Petsch Respiratory shares the local sponsorship of the Scholar/Athlete Awards program, for high achieving students. Petsch Respiratory also sponsors the minor league class A baseball Augusta Greenjackets, affiliate of the San Francisco Giants and owned by Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr.   
 
David is married to Janice Keeble Petsch of LaGrange, Georgia for 21 years.  Janice is a Registered Nurse and an active owner in Petsch Respiratory.  They strive to have Petsch Respiratory continue to be a family owned and community support business. They have four children, Todd, Chad, JohnPaul, and Brian and five grandchildren.  He has officiated Georgia High School Football for the past 22 years. David is a private, instrument rated pilot and spends most of his spare time flying his Cessna Skyhawk II, 172.

Bill Cheek
GAMES Secretary (2008)

Cheek began his career in Home Care with Oxy Plus in Norcross, GA delivering equipment while attending Respiratory school fourteen years ago. Cheek was later employed by industry icon, Phil Stone, at Option Care / American Homecare Supply for several years as a Respiratory therapist, Branch manager, and District manager.  Currently Cheek is the manager / co-owner of Carmichaels Home Medical Equipment in Monroe, GA.

Jason Rogers
GAMES Past President

Jason Rogers graduated from Wofford College with a degree in Philosophy, then earned his MBA from Duke University.  He is also the President of Care Medical which has locations in Athens, Gainesville, and Augusta.  He and his wife, Jennifer, are kept busy looking after their twin daughters born in November 2005.

Carey B. Jones, RPh
GAMES Director (2010)

Carey Jones, together with his sweetheart of 31 years, Carmen Jones, and their three beautiful daughters live in Jesup, Georgia. Carey is a pharmacist at Jones Prescription Shop and co-owns several other pharmacies in South Georgia. He and his brother co-own Jones Medical Equipment which has 5 locations in South Georgia.

Carey Jones is a graduate of University of Florida College of Pharmacy 1980 who enjoys leading a Bible study for adult couples, flying as a private pilot, and cheering on his Gators on fall Saturdays.

GAMES Director

Andrew P. Simmons, Jr. has been in the Home Healthcare Industry for most of his life.  He began working for Cornerstone Medical, Inc. in May 1993 and for the past 16 years has learned every aspect of the business, literally from the ground up.

Andrew has held various positions within the company and currently is Vice President of Field Operations.

Andrew is married to Christina Simmons and together they have two daughters, Taylor and Ansley.

GAMES Director (2008)

Weesie Walker currently serves as Branch Manager of National Seating and Mobility in Atlanta, GA. Walker has worked in Complex Rehab for almost 30 years in the Atlanta Area. She has been a NRRTS Board Member for the past 8 years and is currently serving as Past President.

Additional Walker is a member of the RESNA Professional Standards Board and has presented at numerous conferences and symposiums including the Canadian Seating Conference, RESNA Conference, NSM Symposium, AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association), other regional conferences. She and her husband have two grown children and four grandchildren.

Kim Williamson started her career in the healthcare industry 7 years ago. She has been an Account Manager with Philips Respironics for several years. Kim is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Kim resides in Macon with her husband Wade and 3 year old daughter Banks.

A graduate of Georgia State University's College of Public and Urban Affairs, Teresa Tatum has over 16 years of experience working with national tradeshows, conferences and associations. Most recently Teresa served as conference manager for Medtrade, the home health care industry's leading conference and tradeshow. A native born Georgian, Teresa lives in Marietta with her husband and 5 children.
